TAMPA, FL — August 4, 2011 —AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced today that it has certified the Panasonic KV-S5055C scanner for use with AnyDoc Software’s solutions.

The certified integration ensures seamless performance between the Panasonic KV-S5055C TWAIN-driven scanner and AnyDoc’s automated data and document capture software,OCR for AnyDoc®orAnyDoc®CAPTUREit™for remote and local document capture, including output to the capture workflow and classification platformInfiniworx®. 

The combined solution starts with this high-volume cost-effective scanner as early as the mail room, vastly speeding business processes.  This scanner is designed for imaging a wide range of document sizes, in particular very long documents.  AnyDoc then utilizes these clear images to quickly classify the documents and accurately capture critical data, further improving the efficiency of business applications across a wide range of verticals such as healthcare, insurance, government and financial services as well as a variety of applications within any given entity (invoices, remittances, checks, claims, applications, surveys, etc.).  With AnyDoc’s versatility to automatically process and capture data from nearly any document type and the KV-S5055C’s ability to scan virtually any document, the combination provides a solution for most applications within an organization.

The KV-S5055C sets the business scanner stage with a high-volume of 90 pages per minute (ppm) for single sided and 180 images per minute for 2-sided documents, a 200 page automatic document feeder (ADF), ultrasonic and roller prevention technology for double-feed prevention, stapled document detection and a Pre-Imprinter (option)—a string of identifying characters sprayed onto the paper document prior to scanning the image.  New features to the KV-S5055C include two paper-dust-reduction modules, an ion-rich breeze that neutralizes the electrical charge on documents and reduces dust throughout the paper path, and a scanning-glass cleaning brush which automatically wipes away dust buildup.  These features help ensure continued production use and high image quality, imperative for high accuracy during document classification and processing.

The integration demonstrates AnyDoc’s continued support of Panasonic’s innovative line of business scanners and provides full support for all available features in the industry standard TWAIN interface.
