Movie stars JLo and Jason Statham spend a workday at oceanfront condominium in Boca Raton during the filming of some scenes from the movie "Parker," which is due out in fall 2012. The movie is an adaptation of the book "Flashfire" by Donald Westlake.

BOCA RATON, Fla., United States., November 17, 2011 - (PressReleasePoint) -  Shot this year for its debut in theaters in Fall 2012, the action thriller “Parker” starring Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham created a lot of behind-the-scene hoopla at what local ABC television affiliate WPBF referred to at the time as a “secret location in Boca Raton.”

“I’m very happy to reveal that secret. The ultra-luxurious One Thousand Ocean was singled out and selected by Director Taylor Hackford (Oscar and Directors Guild of America nominee for “Officer and a Gentleman” and the biopic “Ray”) and the production crew,” said Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. An LXR affiliate developed the modern, iconic condominium which is located adjacent to the Boca Raton Resort & Club’s Beach Club.

The crew from Flashfire Productions spent a full day at the oceanfront building shooting several scenes with the high-profile actors as paparazzi were sighted camping out nearby. Adapted from the novel “Flashfire” by prolific crime author Donald Westlake, the movie depicts Lopez as a real estate agent involved with a criminal (Statham), who is planning a heist at a Palm Beach auction.

One Thousand Ocean resident Mitch Herbets noted, “It was fun to be an onlooker close to the action. The beauty and style of the building clearly complemented the excitement and glamour of the two stars, and everything came together so nicely. I look forward to seeing ‘Parker’ when it comes out. I‘m sure it will show off how beautiful One Thousand Ocean is.”

Just days later, a brief scene for “Parker” was shot on location near the One Thousand Ocean Sales Center.

“Palm BeachCounty, including Boca Raton, will be getting great exposure in the film. Furthermore, the producer assured me I’ll be very pleased with the footage they got and how well the movie will show off One Thousand Ocean,” Telchin remarked, adding, “The production company made the choice to shoot here after scouting several other locations. We were honored they chose OneThousandOcean and feel they did so because it is a truly unique South Florida property, surrounded by water on three sides. Being selected speaks volumes about the status and prestige of the building.”

Currently, 77% of the residences are sold and closed at One Thousand Ocean. Out of a total of 52 residences, only 12 are available, including Residences, Penthouses and two-story Beach Villas. Most are one-of-a-kind floor plans and ready for immediate occupancy. Prices are from approximately $3 million to $15 million.
