1060 Brickell Announces Retailers Are Coming
MIAMI, FL – Gary Barnett, president of New York City-based Extell Development, which developed the highly successful W Hotel Times Square and is currently developing Riverside South, a 21-acre site along the Hudson River in Manhattan, today announced the first retailers that have signed commercial leases for 1060 Brickell in Miami. These retailers are expected to begin opening this December on the first two levels of the mixed use, twin tower community.
Among those opening within the 24,000 square-feet of on-site retail are CHAMPS Brickell pre-school, Roberto Giordano Salon-Spa, Mr. Sushi Restaurant, La Provence Bakery, Café Sci Sci, Yogurbella and an Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
When these retailers open for business, 1060 Brickell residents will literally have many of the services and conveniences of urban living just a short elevator ride away. Couple this convenience with Brickell’s vibrant professional environment lying just outside the front doorstep and the highly charged entertainment venues in Mary Brickell Village just outside the backdoor, and 1060 Brickell truly represents the ideal urban lifestyle experience.
“We are extremely proud of the companies that will be sharing the 1060 Brickell address with our residents,” Barnett said. “In addition to the residents at 1060 Brickell who will become instant customers for these fine establishments, the 1060 Brickell location means that thousands more customers will come from workers and visitors to the neighborhood.”
Understanding the urgent need for pre-school education for young families in the Brickell area, CHAMPS Brickell will provide the same professional concept in early childhood education that they have successfully offered for the past five years at their Key Biscayne location. The CHAMPS philosophy promises to foster high self-esteem and achievement in a caring and nurturing environment.
For almost a century, the Arthur Murray method of private, class and practice lessons has helped people from all walks of life become confident on the dance floor. There are Arthur Murray Dance Studios all over the United States and Canada as well as locations in Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lebanon and South Africa.
Roberto Giordano, Argentina's top hairstylist, renown through Latin America for his alluring hairstyles and trendy fashion shows, will be opening a full-service salon and spa at 1060 Brickell. The 5,400 square-foot facility will feature more than 20 hairstyling chairs, a VIP room, a full day-spa and the warmth and personalized service that have made Roberto Giordano a success at 30 other locations throughout the world. The 1060 Brickell location marks the first salon for Robert Giordano in the U.S.
Also coming soon to 1060 are diverse dining options to fulfill all eclectic taste buds with restaurants such as Mr. Sushi, La Provence Bakery, Café Sci Sci and Yogurbella for fresh, non-fat, low calorie, soft-serve frozen yogurt.
Residential condominium closings continue as the project’s first storeowners prepare to move into the sleekly designed 570-unit community, and several outstanding residences and retail spaces are still available.
