  • 02/01/2018 - £150 TRAINING REWARD UP FOR GRABS AS APHC ANNOUNCE 2018 TRAINING PROGRAMME

Registered educational charity and sister company to the Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors, APHC (Training) Ltd., has 100 training rewards worth £150 each to give away to plumbing and heating companies during 2018.

APHC (Training) Ltd. administers the reward scheme to help safeguard the long-term professional development of the industry by incentivising plumbing and heating engineers to up-date their knowledge and gain new skills.

The £150 reward can be used for a certificated course with a recognised training provider such as APHC, BPEC, City & Guilds and all UKAS approved ACS providers.

APHC is also today publishing its 2018 programme of one-day plumbing courses which include Water Regulations, Legionella Cold Water Risk Assessment & Disinfection, Sanitary & Above Ground Drainage and Wet Room Design & Installation.

The courses are delivered at APHC’s centrally located offices in the West Midlands and are open to all plumbing and heating businesses in England and Wales.  If there is a requirement for a group of employees needing to attend a course, then APHC may be able to deliver their courses off-site at a suitable local location.

APHC’s CEO John Thompson commented: “Keeping up-to-date and developing existing skills is important to help ensure you are working compliantly and safely.  Our one-day courses can not only help with this, but also help plumbers gain skills to access new markets such as wet room installation and legionella risk assessing.

“The £150 training reward is available to all plumbing and heating companies in England and Wales regardless of whether they are members of APHC. In order to receive the reward companies are required to send a copy of the training course invoice along with the successful course completion certificate to APHC who will then pay for the cost of the course, up to £150, into the employer’s business bank account."

Further information on the training reward scheme, including APHC’s 2018 programme of one-day plumbing courses can be found at www.aphc.co.uk/training_information.asp.
