Academy were also challenging at the top of the table last season and they welcome Oaksway in Round 1. New Cambell narrowly avoided the dreaded play-offs last time out and they will hope for an upturn infortunes when they host Hucclecote this weekend. The opening round in Premier League 1 is completed with a clash between two sides that finished in mid-table in the previous campaign as Leeds Athletic travel to Team Bath Toucans.

Arguably the match of the weekend in Premier League 2 is the clash between Thoroughbreds and Viper 10 Blades, the two sides to have dropped out of the top division last season. The 2013/14 Premier League 3 champions Tameside start their campaign with a tricky trip to the north-east and a battle with Grangetown.

Telstars survived the gauntlet of the play-offs last season to avoid the drop and they head to Leyton for the opening weekend. It is a huge weekend for Team Jets as the team from Jersey make their debut in Premier League 3 and they will fancy an early upset as they head to Sussex Thunder who struggled in the table last year. Linden have dropped into the league for this campaign and they face a tough tie against Ryland, who were desperately close in last season’s promotion chase, in Round 1.

Following a miserable 2013/14 season, Falcons Black will be hoping for a positive start this weekend but they have been dealt a difficult opener with Dudley Leisure heading to the East Midlands. A quartet of last season’s mid-table finishers go head to head on Sunday hoping for a quick start to their respective campaigns as Norfolk United welcome Cumberland and Loughborough TFC visit Kent County.
