Cost pressure in the transport industry is on the increase. The cost-effective use of vehicles, which includes a reduction in downtime periods, is among the most important measures taken to counteract this phenomenon. With Truckstar OSRAM now has a lamp for HGVs, which has more than double the lifetime compared with standard 24V lamps and therefore considerably reduces downtime and maintenance requirements caused by replacing lamps. Truckstar also provides up to 100% more light on the road and therefore increases safety.
With up to 2.5 times the life of standard lamps, superior robustness and lower susceptibility to failure OSRAM Truckstar helps reduce maintenance costs considerably as fewer lamp replacements are needed
Lamp replacements result in HGV operators and drivers not using their time and resource cost-effectively. With up to 2.5 times more lifetime, superior robustness and minimal susceptibility to failure OSRAM’s Truckstar helps reduce forced downtime for time-consuming lamp changes. In addition to this, the reduced lamp requirement saves even more money – up to €200 per vehicle every year.
With Truckstar OSRAM provides the commercial vehicle industry with a solution that unlike comparable competitor products combines superior vibration resistance with more than twice the operating life in just one lamp.
Safer on the road
With its strong lumen output, which gives it a more consistent light, Truckstar succeeds in illuminating the road better. Its patented Single Coil technology provides significantly improved visibility especially in the important zone 50-100 metres in front of the vehicle with a beam up to 40 metres longer. Drivers can therefore see further ahead on the road and have increased time in which to react. In addition, the fact that the road is illuminated better means driving is more comfortable and less tiring, which reduces the risk of accidents at night.
The Truckstar product range includes virtually every type of headlamp and is available in H4, H7, H1 and H3 versions. Auxiliary lamps, which are also distinguished by the same long life and great robustness, complete the Truckstar range.
