The board is specially optimized for motor driving and control systems based on MS320F2812 series DSPs.

This 2812EVM-II evaluation board, model B0M10004, is an upgrade to GAO's B0M10003. It is an advanced module with 32-bit fixed-point Flash DSP operating at a frequency of 150 MHz. It features on-chip flash program memory, on-chip and extendable SRAM and 9 independent push button switches. This compact module utilizes RS232, RS485 and CAN2.0 interfaces for data exchange. It also has a USB interface for communications.

This evaluation board provides on-board VL-Bus data/address/control lead-out wires and various signal testing points and debugging points including CLK, CS2, CS2, CS6, RD, WR, CS1571, RS1581, EVA, EVB, IN1 to IN8, and OUT1 to OUT8. It has 5 extended shielded interrupt inputs and 2 unshielded interrupt inputs. In addition, it uses an independent power supply for A/D sampling thus avoiding EMI from the CPU core.

This high performance TI DSP evaluation board belongs to GAO's family of TI DSP Evaluation Boards.
