The 3rd International Conference on Ayurved and Complementary Systems of Medicine to be held in Sri Lanka
Conference to promote Sri Lanka as a destination for Ayurveda Medical Tourism
13th August 2009. Colombo, Sri Lanka. The 3rd International Conference on Ayurved and Complementary Systems of Medicine, organized by Tathagat Ayurved Research Foundation (Pune) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism will take place in Colombo on 17th August 2009.
Around 70 Indian Ayurveda doctors are expected to participate in this year’s conference. The International conference will be an opportunity for Sri Lankan indigenous medical practitioners to connect with the International Ayurveda sector. One of the main objectives of the conference is to promote Sri Lanka as a destination for Ayurveda Medical Tourism.
The International Conference on Ayurved and Complementary Systems of Medicine was previously held at Singapore and Thailand.
Tathagat Ayurved Research Foundation was founded in 2004 with a view to promote the basic principles and concepts of Ayruved in India and abroad.
