4-Port 10/100Base-Tx and 1-Port 100Base-Fx Ethernet Switch Supports MAC Self-Learning
Utilizing STAR network topology, this Ethernet switch is an ideal option for fiber to the home (FTTH) optical fiber solutions.
Toronto,Ontario,Canada, March 13, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Toronto, Canada - GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) recommends its 4-Port 10/100Base-Tx and 1-Port 100Base-Fx Ethernet Switch compliant with IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u and IEEE802.3x standards. Utilizing STAR network topology, this Ethernet switch is an ideal option for fiber to the home (FTTH) optical fiber solutions.
This 5-port fast Ethernet switch, model C0330001, has four 10/100M UTP ports and one 100M SFP socket. It converts optical/electrical Ethernet signals between 10/100M UTP ports and 100M optical fiber ports. It extends the transmission distance of a network from 100 m over copper wires to up to 120 km through optical fiber link.
This Ethernet switch features 10/100M auto-negotiation and provides a maximum speed of up to 20/200M in full-duplex mode. It also provides IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and back pressure half-duplex flow control. It also supports MAC self-learning and automatic MDI/MDI-X configuration. In addition, LED indicator lights allow for full monitoring of the convertor's operational status making observation and diagnoses easy.
This 4-Port 10/100Base-Tx and 1-Port 100Base-Fx Ethernet switch belongs to GAO's family of Fiber Switches. Other featured products in this line include 1000M Dual Port Media Converter which takes advantage of intelligent connection technology to provide auto-negotiation thereby eliminating the need to manually configure or monitor settings, 2 - 10/100/1000M RJ45 & 2 - 1000M SFP Ports Ethernet Switch which offers end users the flexibility to use a variety of SFP modules according to requirement for example: 1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX, and 1000Base-LX and 6-Port 10/100Base-Tx and 1-Port 100Base-Fx Fiber Ethernet Switch which converts 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet twisted-pair signals to 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet fiber signals.
