9th Apr 2008---TranslateMedia’s Paris office, launched in November 2007, added three people to its staff in March and expects to double its size by June 2008.
“There is a strong interest from large corporations wanting the highest quality service available on the market. The response to TranslateMedia’s launch in France was well received from the market, and some interesting accounts were won, particularly in the technical field, with ArcelorMittal and many other key advertising agencies and IT companies”, says Cédric Naintré, Regional Manager.
Managing Director Patrick Eve said: “This was an exciting opportunity for us to enter into this demanding market with a strong competitive edge: innovative tools, top-notch quality control and advanced processes. We cover 52 languages and are proud to be one of the very few translation companies to be awarded BSEN 15038, the highest quality translation services certification. Our unique web-based technology platform optimizes the delivery fast, accurate and cost effective translations services”.
“Our research found that large French corporations are now in a more demanding process regarding their translation needs. They do not only want quality, fast turnaround and an attractive price. Increasingly, they want control from their end-users’ perspective and a full visibility on the translation process” according to Cédric Naintré. “High-productivity companies want to incorporate the translation process in their controlled environment. They also want increased security and confidentiality regarding the document transfer”.
Marketing Manager Jose Gutierrez said: “Purchasing departments are now extremely demanding. They want integrated processes within their intranet – or at least accessible by web browsers in a secure way. They want Translation Memory software. They want customised reports on each job. This is what we provide to France’s largest corporations.”
According to Operations Manager, Matt Train, “Our technology has been developed for use by everyone in the translation process to facilitate a quick and efficient service. Our platform is like a Command and Control centre, enabling our client to receive real time information on their jobs, and delivering top quality service at a surprising speed. Achieving, and in many cases surpassing the requirements of the highest certification available on the market today – the BSEN 15038 - reflects the outstanding competence of our internal processes, as well as our commitment to providing a quality service.”
