Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P), one of the nation’s top 100 Green Builders, is proud to announce that they are wrapping up work on the Yampa Valley Medical Center Medical Expansion in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Aurora, CO – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P), one of the nation’s top 100 Green Builders, is proud to announce that they are wrapping up work on the Yampa Valley Medical Center Medical Expansion in Steamboat Springs, CO.

The expansion includes two additions to the existing hospital, encompassing 2 operating rooms, a pharmacy, an OB room, labor and delivery rooms, postpartum rooms, support areas, a locker room, and a mechanical room. Both additions are located within two existing courtyards of the original hospital building. Close coordination was needed to be sure that work was performed around operating hours because the existing OR suite was 12 inches from the project site.

The project also includes renovation to the existing OB department, existing operating rooms, surgery prep and recovery area, labs and offices. The project was completed while the hospital was fully operational.
