Abused Women Have Higher Health Costs Long After Violence Ends

The Journal of General Internal Medicine has e-published a new Group Health study about health costs and domestic violence. The study found that female domestic violence victims have significantly higher health costs for three years following the end of abuse than do women who have not been abused.
