ACC Commends Bipartisan Effort in Senate to Secure Chemical Facilities
ARLINGTON, VA (February 4, 2010) U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Mark Pryor (D-AR), George Voinovich (R-OH) and Mary Landrieu (D-LA), today introduced legislation to extend the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards for five years. ACCs President and CEO, Cal Dooley, released the following statement:

ACC and our members support the efforts of Senators Collins, Landrieu, Pryor and Voinovich and the other members of the Senate Homeland Security Committee on chemical security legislation that will help us protect our facilities, our employees, the communities in which we operate, and the vital products we supply everyday to the nation. href="http://www.americanchemistry.com/s_responsiblecare/doc.asp?CID=1298&DID=5085 ">Responsible Care Security Code®,
