ACRIA and Amida Care will cohost two “A Dialogue for Life” forums led by Douglas Brooks, the Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. They offer an opportunity to learn more about the efforts of AIDS organizations, consumers, and advocates to advance the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, increase access to care under the Affordable Care Act, and to address Ryan White and HOPWA funding needs.
These forums are open to the public in order to engage as many consumers, providers, and adovcates as possible about the innovations, successes and challenges faced in the fight against HIV in New York.
The first session will be held in Upper Manhattan and will focus on how these matters afect NYC, particularly Harlem, Washington Heights, and the South Bronx. The second will be held in central Brooklyn, focused on Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
