Action On Film Festival Names Christopher Canole Host of the 2010 Writer’s Dinner

Award winning writer Christopher Canole returns as the Master of Ceremonies and Host for the second time for the Action On Film International Film Festival Written Word Awards and Dinner at the 2010 AOF Festival.

Pasadena, CA – For the second year in a row, award winning writer Christopher Canole will host the Action On Film Written Word Awards which will be held during the 6th Annual Action On Film International Film Festival. The Festival will be held July 23-30 2010. The festival returns to Pasadena for a third time in its six year history.

Canole said, “I look forward to being on hand to give out the awards to my fellow writers.”

“I love the Sheraton Pasadena and I know our guests will too.” said Theresa Coscarelli, AOF Festival Producer. “Chris did a fantastic job in 2009 and we look forward to his presence at the 2010 show.”

The dinner and awards show which has sold out both years at the previous locations has been moved to the beautiful Sheraton Pasadena. Festival Creator and Director Del Weston said, “The Sheraton has a look, feel and warmth that really welcomes the guests and makes them feel special. We want our writers to know how much we respect what they do and giving them a great place like the Sheraton to celebrate their work is an easy way of doing just that.”

The AOF Writer’s Award Dinner and Show grew out of the huge AOF Black Tie Dinner and Awards which simply got too big for both of the film and written awards to be given out during the same event. Weston said, “Writers are a very special group of people and to lump them in with the other awards just didn’t seem fair. These awards have been a big hit and grown every season, 2010 should be no exception.”
