ADM Names Kent Soellner Vice President of Export Trading

Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that Kent Soellner has been named vice president, Export Trading. He will be responsible for ADM’s North American grain export trading business and for managing risk in this area. He will report to Joe Taets, vice president, Grain Group.

“Kent has a great deal of knowledge and experience with ADM’s grain merchandising and risk management activities,” said Taets. “ADM’s ability to manage risk is one of our Company’s greatest strengths, and we are pleased with the expertise Kent brings to this area.”

Soellner joined ADM in 2000, and has held a number of roles within the Company, including grainer merchandiser, risk manager and procurement manager. He most recently served as corn hedge desk manager.

Soellner received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Iowa State University.
