It operates as an ADSL Modem and conducts Bridge, PPPoE, PPPoA, MER, IPoA regulation to perform ISP simulation login and verify operational performance of the terminal equipment. The tester can also be used as a digital multi-meter to test subscriber telephone connectivity and line parameters.
This rugged tester, model A0300031, conducts upstream and downstream rate measurement, error count, modem simulation, and ping test. To protect the customer's investment, it provides upgradable software via Ethernet or USB interface. It is equipped with a 4.3 inch colorful display screen with backlight and smart navigation menu for convenient operation. The tester features real-time display of data rate and flux and boasts a large storage volume for convenient storage of test settings and results. This powerful tester operates under the Windows™ CE platform and is capable of Web site browsing. The ADSL2+ tester works continuously for more than 3.5 hours using its rechargable built-in Li-ion battery or the unit can be operated using the external charger.
