Advent Software Achieves Double Recognition at Inaugural MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards

Advent’s success as one of the region’s leading technology providers for investment managers confirmed with prestigious honors

San Francisco, London and Dubai – March 4, 2013 – Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS), a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, today announced that it has been recognized as the “Best Fund Accounting and Reporting Software Provider” and the “Best Portfolio Management Software Provider” in the 2013 MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards recently held in Dubai.

The panel of judges, which recognized Advent Software in two of the 20 categories, stated that the awards were a result of Advent’s expertise in providing software solutions to the world’s leading fund management companies to the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The panel commented that “Advent is at the forefront of helping develop best practices in the region and these awards pay tribute to Advent’s work in transforming the MENA fund industry.” 

Advent set up its Middle East operation back in 2005 and is now based in the main DIFC centre in Dubai. The team has grown, along with the client base in the region.  Advent has a local sales team as well as local consulting and support teams.  The client base consists of asset managers, private banks, family offices and wealth managers. Advent’s client firms in the region include, for example, Emirates NBD, Jadwa Investment, Shuaa Capital, EFG Hermes, Beltone Asset Management and ANB Invest.
