Airport Parking Problems at DFW Lead to Off-Site Parking Increase
There have been on-airport parking problems at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport thanks to a terminal construction project. As a result of this project, one of the on-airport parking garages for Terminal A has been shut. This has led to increased parking problems there and also at Terminal C, which is struggling to absorb the higher traffic volumes as people struggle to find parking at the airport.
Suffield, CT, July 12, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- This is reflected in a recent customer satisfaction survey, which found that parking satisfaction at Dallas Airport had decreased from 8.46 to 5.77 out of 10. It has been reported that sixty percent of passengers said it is hard to find a space in Terminal A. Normally, around 55% of passengers are either dropped off at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport or park at off-site facilities. Since the terminal construction project has started to affect parking for Terminal A and, subsequently, for Terminal C, this figure has risen to around 65% of passengers seeking alternative parking solutions.
For those customers looking for parking suitable for Dallas Airport, there are currently more than 10 off-site parking lots serving the airport. As well as the ability to reserve your space before you go so you know without doubt that you will be able to park your car, the off-site lots also offer a free shuttle bus service to the airport so you will be able to get to your final destination. DFW off airport parking starts at as little as $5 per day and there are a range of different options available to meet passengers’ needs.
