Uganda Cranes main sponsors, Airtel Uganda has today disclosed a fans’ campaign that will see the telecommunications giants sponsor football supporters for an expense paid for trip to Mauritania.
Addressing the media at FUFA house during the weekly press conference at Mengo, Airtel Uganda Brand and Asset Manager, Noella Byuma announced the campaign.
How fans will win the all expenses paid for trip:
“Football fans have to buy match tickets for this Saturday’s games (Uganda U17 Vs Rwanda U17 and Uganda Vs Mauritania). They will then have to capture the match ticket and sms it to 8558″, Byuma explained the procedure.
Ugandan fans will have to watch two games with one ticket.
Uganda Junior side, The Cubs open up with a 2 pm fixture against Rwanda in a CAF Youth championship qualifier.
The senior team, The Cranes will play at 5 pm against Mauritania in the AFCON 2015 Qualifier.
Mauritania jets into the country on Thursday at 00:55 am aboard Ethiopian Airways while Rwanda are expected to reach the same day at noon.
