Mobile Email Management Suite gives organizations complete flexibility to deploy AirWatch Inbox, native email or third-party email clients based on security and user requirements

ATLANTA – Jan. 9, 2014 – AirWatch®, the largest Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provider, announces the launch of AirWatch Inbox as part of its Mobile Email Management (MEM) suite, which includes secure corporate email access through the native client on Apple, Android and Windows devices and support of third-party email clients. AirWatch Inbox is a containerized email client with military-grade security, advanced functionality and a seamless, native end-user experience that allows for quick access to corporate email, calendar and contacts.

Access to mobile email is essential for employees who need to work on the go, but corporate email often contains sensitive data and documents. Companies need to ensure their mobile email strategy keeps data secure while providing an intuitive experience for end users. AirWatch MEM offers enterprises the flexibility to configure AirWatch Inbox, native email or third-party email clients on an employee-owned or corporate-owned device based on the deployment strategy that best fits business and security requirements. AirWatch Inbox is available on Apple iOS and Android devices at $1 per device per month with maintenance included or a one-time fee of $20 per device with an annual maintenance fee of $4 per device.

Ideal for highly regulated deployments and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs, AirWatch Inbox can be deployed as a managed application or within the dual persona AirWatch Workspace containerized solution. AirWatch Inbox features data encryption in-transit and at rest, enforcement policies around bandwidth, sync control and an independent passcode. AirWatch provides additional layers of security through advanced certificate integration and multi-factor authentication.  Email accounts can be automatically provisioned based on defined security policies, and administrators can enforce access control policies. Users can view and modify email, calendar and contacts in the AirWatch Inbox.

AirWatch Inbox joins the company’s industry-leading EMM platform, which also includes AirWatch Workspace, AirWatch Browser and Secure Content Locker, a content management and collaboration solution. These applications work together to enable employees to work faster and more efficiently, including single sign-on capabilities between applications. Used together, these solutions allow employees to read emails using the email client, open applications securely with Secure Content Locker and view web pages securely in AirWatch Browser. AirWatch Inbox also supports 16 languages and can easily be changed by IT administrators and end-users.
