AlarmPoint Systems and Continuity Insights to Host Joint Business Continuity Planning and Notification Webinar
PLEASANTON, CA. – October 22, 2009- AlarmPoint Systems, provider of the leading Alert Management platform, will host a joint webinar with a leading Business Continuity publication, Continuity Insights, on Wednesday, October 28th at 1:00 pm EDT. The webinar will cover topics from a recent Continuity Insights survey focused on emergency and crisis communication, including a panel discussion with Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery experts from Toyota Motor Sales USA, Clorox Corporation and John Hopkins University and Hospital.
In August of 2009, Continuity Insights conducted a survey, polling their readers on their strategies and experiences with emergency communication systems. By comparing the latest results with those from similar surveys in 2008 and earlier, Continuity Insights has been able to establish industry-wide crisis communication trends.
The surveys took into account companies of different sizes and needs, asking important questions such as:
- What kind of emergency notification/crisis communication system vendors most effective
- The importance of mobility in delivering information
- How often and for what reasons these communication systems were being used
- The important aspects of the purchasing process
This webinar will discuss Continuity Insights’ findings, including what their reader’s value most in a notification and emergency communication solution and the ways that companies are seeking out more cost-effective solutions.
