Alberta's Next Top Model announced the names of the 15 Contestants that have advanced to Stage 2 from Group A.

Alberta, Canada, December 02, 2008 (PressReleasePoint) -- Alberta's Next Top Model announced the names of the 15 Contestants that have advanced to Stage 2 from Group A.

"The competition was tight, lots of hopefuls, but only 15 contestants were able to move forward from Group A" stated J.C, one of the judges for Alberta's Next Top Model. "Some of them are trying too hard. I know its tough, but the models need to control their emotions, and just be more confident." J.C. added.

On location, you could feel the tension in the air as each contestant entered the room with the judges. We spoke with one of the contestants, " I was so nervous meeting the judges, my palms are still sweaty. But, I'm moving forward!" she yelled as she waved her yellow sheet in the air. Her parents were there to celebrate her advancement. Some of the other contestants were not so lucky, " I wish I had another chance, I know I can do it" sobbed Joanna. Unfortunately she didn't advance to Stage 2.

15 contestants did. They will be judged again, this time on the Runway.

Congratulations to Brandi Z, Candice E, Elise K, Jackie P, Klara J, Marcia S, McKenzie V, Michael P, Natasha M, Nicole P, Samantha M, Stacey P, Tara M, Kelsey K, Sheena G.

Good Luck to all the Contestants!
