Alexis Ruby Cast in Popular Children's Musical

"Alexis Ruby, apprentice dancer with the Susan Chambers Dance Company has been cast in two parts in the long running Atlanta musical 'The Trial of Mother Goose'."

For Immediate Release-Atlanta Georgia 2008,11-08 Twelve year old Alexis was cast as Miss Muffet's spider and will be featured in a surprise solo character role, choreographed just for her.

This delightful show is presented annually in February to more than 5,000 school children, home schoolers, Girl and Boy Scouts, and families and wins high praise from teachers and children alike. A play by Helen Louise Miller was adapted to a musical by Susan Chambers, this terrific family show is presented in an evening public performance in February at the Gwinnett Center in Atlanta and is an excellent family-oriented theater event. Four school shows are also available for groups but sell-out early!

The young Miss Ruby has been dancing and singing almost as many years as she is old and has been working her way up the performing arts ladder hoping one day to achieve her dream of performing on Broadway. 'The Trial of Mother Goose' and the wildly popular 'Dancin' and Singin' the Night Away' will be her first official musical theatre performance.
