Thousands of Men and Women have to face the ordeal of a “Cancer Scare” every year. Statistics from Cancer Research UK reported in 2011, 331,487 people were diagnosed with Cancer in the UK. With these overwhelming figures along with well meaning press and TV story lines depicting the terrible consequences of Cancer; it is little wonder people with potential health issues, that medical professionals suspect may be Cancer, end up literally “scared to death.”

One anonymous woman’s story of a recent “Cancer Scare” told honestly in her own words, the desperate state she was in, previous to hearing the outcome of her biopsy, the story is as follows.
 
The Doctor said “I think we will send you just to get checked out, just to be sure.” “I’m pretty sure all will be well, but I would like to make sure.”  “This was after I had found a lump around the nipple of my breast a week earlier.”
