Government Appointed Green Deal Installer

The UK’s number one damage restoration company Allkare has recently been appointed as an approved Green Deal assessor and installer. The Green Deal Scheme is the government’s carbon reduction project to significantly reduce carbon emissions by 2020 set out by the Climate Change Act 2008. It allows all home owners, private tenants, landlords and business owners to get energy efficient improvements without paying out any large upfront costs.

All official green deal assessors and installers are properly trained, accredited and required to adhere to the government defined Code of Practice.

Allkare have years of experience in property restoration nationwide after fire, flood or storm damage. With such a large network of professional and integral trades-people Allkare are able to provide all the services required for all types of energy efficiency improvements within homes, business premises or rental properties. Peter Hargreaves, founder and Managing Director of Allkare believes that the Green Deal scheme, is a fantastic opportunity for the general public. "The Green Deal scheme, which is fully backed by the government represents the best opportunity that UK people have received in modern times to upgrade their homes and make them more energy efficient. This scheme is something that every property owner and tenant in the UK should be looking at."

In order to gain accreditation to operate as official green deal assessors and green deal scheme advisors, The Department of Energy and Climate Change insist on companies having completed the required training and rigorous assessment process, which Allkare have duly completed.

The Green Deal scheme represents a great opportunity for people to save money on their heating bills. No upfront fees, payments or investment are paid in advance. Once the official assessment has been made by an accredited green deal assessor such as Allkare, all the work is completed by the green deal approved installers and the investment is only paid back through the energy bills of your property.

About Allkare:

Allkare was founded by Peter Hargreaves in 1999 as he found it difficult to find reliable, professional trades-people who also specialise in flood damage restoration, water damage claims, roofing repair, insurance claims.

Allkare are accredited through Stroma. The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) created the Green Deal accreditation schemes, in which Stroma Certification is participating, to the BS EN 45011:1998 standard.
