Today, The Allstate Foundation announced a donation of $10,000 to The American Red Cross of Snohomish County to support recovery efforts in the recent Oso mudslide. Allstate agents and employees will also be working to raise funds and collect donation items in their local Washington offices.
"Allstate and The Allstate Foundation would like to thank The American Red Cross of Snohomish County for their efforts in supporting individuals and the greater community affected by the mudslide here in Washington," stated Brian Walsh, field senior vice president of Allstate's Northwest Region. "They are first on the scene after disaster strikes and it is important that companies, like Allstate, recognize the resources and efforts of The Red Cross and support them as they help the community recover."
In addition to support from The Allstate Foundation, Allstate employees and agency owners across Washington are engaging in fundraising efforts to support area food banks in need of help replenishing the food available for the local community.
Allstate's presence in Washington is anchored by more than 300 employees and hundreds of agency owners who help protect its customers from life's uncertainties.
