ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference has announced that the volleyball match between the Spartans from Missouri Baptist and the Columbia College Cougars has been selected as the AMC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week.

(10) Missouri Baptist Spartans at (7) Columbia Cougars
Tuesday, Oct. 3 7:00 p.m. Southwell Complex

  • Columbia is 29-10 all-time against Missouri Baptist.
  • The Spartans have won three of the last four matches between the two squads.
  • The teams split two games last year. Missouri Baptist won the first contest, 3-0, and Columbia won the second match, 3-2 in the AMC Volleyball Championship Semifinals.

Scouting Missouri Baptist:

  • The Spartans are 20-3 overall and 7-0 in AMC play.
  • Missouri Baptist has won its previous five matches, four by the score of 3-0.
  • The Spartans have won 14-of-15 overall.
  • All three of Missouri Baptist's losses have come in five sets.
  • They have dropped just two games in the last seven AMC regular-season matches.
  • Missouri Baptist has won nine-straight AMC contests, dating back to 2016.

  • The Cougars are 7-1 in their last eight regular-season conference matches.
