Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF versionPDF versionFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   August 12, 2014                             Anne Thompson, NBC News Correspondent, to Speakat Benefit for Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital DETROIT - NBC News Correspondent  Anne Thompson will be the keynote speaker at the 10th annual Mothers, Daughters, Sisters & Friends luncheon at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Ford Field.  Thompson, NBC News’ Chief Environmental Affairs correspondent, will deliver the keynote address describing her battle with breast cancer. Before being named an NBC News correspondent, Thompson had been an award-winning general assignment reporter for WDIV-TV. The event is a benefit for the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute and the Francee & Benson Ford Jr. Breast Care and Wellness Center at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, located at 6777 W. Maple Road, in West Bloomfield. Registration and boutiques open at 9:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon and the keynote address from noon – 1:30 p.m. Boutique shopping, with unique apparel, jewelry and accessories, ends at 3:30 p.m. Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Friends co-chairs Florine Mark, Lisa Lis, Francee Ford and Micki Kline will lead attendees in honoring breast cancer survivors. Luncheon tickets start at $125 which includes valet parking; survivor ticket at $99 includes valet parking; and two tickets for $600 include the opportunity to meet Anne Thompson.Tickets are available at www.henryford.com/mdsf.
