Apeejay Education Society hosted the first-of-its kind conference on OpenCourseWare (OCW) that was attended by entrepreneurs, professionals as well as alumni & students from premier institutes including MIT, Harvard, and IIT at the Apeejay School campus in Sheikh Sarai.

New Delhi, 7th December 2013:Apeejay Education Society hosted the first-of-its kind conference on OpenCourseWare (OCW) that was attended by entrepreneurs, professionals as well as alumni & students from premier institutes including MIT, Harvard, and IIT at the Apeejay School campus in Sheikh Sarai.
 
The conference began with an invocation dance performance by students of Apeejay School. This was followed by an engaging video conferencing session with Anant Agarwal, President of edX on the revolutionary concept of open learning. He discussed the benefits and challenges of pursuing massive open online course programmes in India with the students present on the occasion. Interestingly, Mr. Agarwal taught the first course of edX on circuits and electronics from MIT, which drew 155,000 students from 162 countries.
