Aplicor Releases Industry First Handheld CRM Edition

Boca Raton, Florida - Aplicor, Inc., a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software publisher, today announced the company has released Aplicor Airwaves™, the industry's first complete CRM business system for mobile and handheld devices, including the Pocket PC and Palm. Aplicor Airwaves™ provides full account, contact, activity, sales opportunity and product management as well as Time and Task management on a handheld device in a connected or disconnected environment. Additional industry-first functionality include account level security, full audit trails, custom queries and a 'Data Expiration' feature in which CRM data can be set to purge after a user-defined time period. Aplicor President Mark Wakelin indicated that "We spoke to a large number of focus groups and heard a consistent theme of organization's concerned about releasing their customer and sales information in a potentially uncontrolled environment. By making the Data Expiration feature available to customers at their option, many organizations that otherwise would not have deployed mobile solutions are now effectively using handheld devices." Aplicor Airwaves for handheld mobile devices is part of the Aplicor Remote Access Suite (Aplicor RAS) which also includes Aplicor's Offline Edition, which provides full PC utilization in a disconnected environment.
