Arrica Rose & the …’s debut full-length People Like Us co-produced by Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, The Decemberists, Sleater-Kinney) was described as “12-song effort with poetry disguised as lyrics” (Daily Sun) and as a record that ought to “launch [the band] into stardom, something for which [they] seem destined” (Performer). Their follow-up EP Last Night on Earth also quickly created its own buzz, including charting on college/indie radio across the country and creating much anticipation for the band’s 2nd full-length release…

And now on April 14th, La-La Lost, co-produced by Dan Garcia (David Crosby, Rod Stewart, Christina Aguilera), will be released exclusively on iTunes. Citing influences ranging as far and wide as Tom Waits, Billie Holiday, David Bowie and Bob Dylan, this brand new release is a soulful collection of songs and experiences that weave together moments almost lost but not forgotten. The album features Rose’s rich smoky vocals backed by the melodic strummings and beats of her band.
