Leading Provider of Language Services and ABREVE® Content Optimization Technology Earns Industry’s Benchmark Certifications for Quality Assurance

, November 17, 2010–ArchiText, a world leader in language services and content optimization technology, and a division of Translations.com, today announced that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 and EN 15038:2006 certification. Together, these certifications represent the benchmark quality standards for the language services industry.

ISO 9001 was created by the International Organization for Standardization, and is a general quality management standard that applies to all types of businesses. By contrast, EN 15038, established by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) in 2006, is specifically designed to address quality assurance practices for the translation industry.

In order to receive certification, ArchiText’s Andover, MA production hub was audited by TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognized, independent certifying organization. TÜV SÜD assessed ArchiText on a variety of factors, including internal production processes and vendor-client communication procedures.
