Aritist Magnet LLC Begins The Coding For It's One Of A kind International Theater Networking Website

Artist Magnet is a LLC formed in California in 2008 by Founder David Mack.

New York, NY, February 10, 2009 (PressReleasePoint) -- Artist Magnet LLC Associate Kubra Basdogan, an IT Consultant has begun the initial coding for the revolutionary new global theater networking website ArtistMagnet.com. The phase 1 coding and design will take several months to complete and afterwards the design team will begin building up the site.

The building of ArtistMagnet.com has begun in earnest. The Initial coding is being done by Kubra Basdogan, an IT Consultant who graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems. She has worked as a consultant at companies like Peoplesoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems and Apple Computers.The technology not available in similar sites like Facebook requires the website to be built from the ground up.

The new network will connects actors, directors, producers, designers, playwrights, managers, dramaturges, crew, puppeteers, singers, dancers, musicians, instructors, other artists, audiences, fans and more through shows and venues in their communities and around the world.

Artist Magnet will incorporate a comprehensive search engine, allowing clients to find information about artists, shows, and venues anywhere in the world. Its like IMDb, Facebook, Craigslist, and Wikipedia all in one. Here clients can build their own customized hyperlinking resumes, instantly connecting to fellow artists in their past, present and upcoming shows, which in turn instantly connect to other shows in their venues, which connect to artists in those shows, and so on.

They also offer Artistplace: a place for clients to find work, auditions, classes, and other theater related products.

The tedious coding process is expected to be completed in 3-4 months. A team of IT professionals will complete the website once the initial coding stage is finishedartmagsm.jpg. Fundraising to support the building and design is ongoing at 40billion.com and Facebook under Wabi Sabi Productions causes. They are the agents handling the raising of capital for the project. For phase one the cost is expected to be around $12,000 for building, development and management of website initially. Additional funding will be needed and sought after once the website is up and running to further develop and institute the next phase in the process.

The founder David Mack reports that a support website is currently in operation as the building process continues. The temporary website is located at http://artistmagnet.ning.com and currently has over 400 members globally.
