Arrive lends its support to Innovations ’13, the International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology to be held on March 17-19 in Al Ain, UAE

Dubai, United Arab Emirates., March 13, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Arrive Systems, Inc. the leader in digital classroom solutions took the lead to promote excellence in Information Technology and encourage innovations in the region by associating itself as the Gold Sponsor for the upcoming 9th edition of the International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology, titled “Innovations ‘13”.

The three-day conference is hosted by the College of Information Technology, UAE University, Al Ain, UAE from March 17-19, 2013. The event will feature a panel of world-renowned speakers coming from all across the globe to highlight the challenges and opportunities in the IT landscape that can enable new innovations to reshape the future of this region. Topics of discussion would include Communication Networks, Information Security, Computing and Embedded Systems, Intelligent and Software Systems, Communication Networks, Applications and Web Service.

Arrive will also be hosting Michelle Zeigmann from the University of California, Berkeley, USA at Innovations ’13 who will present an industrial lecture on March 19 at the said conference entitled “Opencast Matterhorn: Open Source Lecture Capture and Beyond”. Michelle has been working in the field of educational technology for over 10 years and one of the founding collaborators for the Opencast Matterhorn project where she also serves as a Board Member.

Matterhorn is a free, open-source platform to support the management of educational audio and video content.  Arrive ViewPoint – a lecture capture device, is powered by Matterhorn technology to manage lecture recordings, existing video, serve designated distribution channels, and provide user interfaces to engage students with educational videos.
