Ashton Woods Homes recently announced a new state-of-the-art smartphone app designed to make the new home search easier for buyers.

Ashton Woods Homes recently announced a new state-of-the-art smartphone app designed to make searching for Atlanta new homes easier for buyers.

The Ashton Woods Homes app includes several features designed to make searching for a new home easier. Potential homebuyers can browse communities and property listings to receive detailed information. Users can also call or email sales agents from the app or save their favorite communities for future reference.

Using GPS technology, the Ashton Woods Homes app will let users sort community listings by distance and receive directions based on their current location. The app also includes a geofence, which puts a virtual perimeter around each community. When a user crosses the geofence, they receive a real-time message alerting them about a nearby neighborhood. This feature can be customized, allowing homebuyers to specify the radius of the geofence.

This app also includes a built-in mortgage calculator. Homebuyers can enter information about monthly income and expenses; down payment; mortgage terms; and more. The app will give users an estimated monthly payment and will also calculate the affordable loan amount.

Other features of the Ashton Woods Home app include a News/Blog tab, videos and the ability to share communities on Facebook and Twitter. Homebuyers now have access to many of the same features used by sales professionals.
