ATLANTA – At the end of August of 2009, Rebekah Hanlon found herself with the daunting task of relocating across country from San Francisco to Atlanta. With a short period of time to find a place to call home, Hanlon called on her real estate agent to help guide her through the process of finding a one bedroom boutique condo in the Buckhead area.
Hanlon, who relocated to Atlanta to work for Wells Fargo after the company merged with Wachovia, was pretty specific in the requirements she provided her agent. Mostly, she wanted a similar type condo to what she had grown used to.
“I had lived in a boutique condo in San Francisco so I knew I wanted a boutique style building with high rise amenities,” she said. “When I saw the Astoria at the Aramore, I was impressed with custom finish work, detail of the condo itself with upgraded appliances and fixtures, a fireplace, hardwood floors and kitchen appliances. It was definitely superior to the other condos I had seen.”
Hanlon, now almost two months into her purchase, remains excited about her 1,100 square foot condo that includes an 800 square foot oversized deck that looks out over Peachtree Creek.
“The developer (Kairos Development) was amazing throughout the whole process,” said Hanlon. “I really felt comfortable with everyone and the sales staff was very accommodating. They really do a good job.”
Hanlon said she enjoys the location of her condo and often walks to Atlanta’s best restaurants including Holeman and Finch and Restaurant Eugene. The close proximity to the Peachtree Battle shopping center as well major highways was also a key part of her decision.
“My commute to Atlantic Station is about seven minutes and that is with traffic on Peachtree,” she said with a smile. “It’s been a nice move and easy transition.”
The Astoria at the Aramore features 70 exclusive mid-rise residences in historic Peachtree Battle with condominiums priced from the $400,000s and penthouses priced from the $900,000s.
