ATF Offers $5,000 for Gun Store Burglary

Eighteen Firearms Taken in Burglary of Licensed Firearms Dealer

GREER, S.C. – Wayne L. Dixie, Jr., Special Agent in Charge of the Charlotte Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the burglary of South Carolina Gun Company, 242 W. Wade Hampton Blvd, Suite E, Greer, SC, 29651. This business is a federally licensed firearms dealer.

On July 27, 2014, unknown persons broke into South Carolina Gun Company in the early morning hours and stole eighteen firearms. The burglary of this gun shop is being investigated by ATF and the Greer Police Department.
