Atlas Business Solutions’ Human Resource Software Version 8.0 Recently Released

Improved scanning options, better time-off accruals and performance review reports, and enhanced security settings are added to the new version of Staff Files.

FARGO, ND – March 25, 2010– Version 8.0 of Staff Files has been recently released. Staff Files is Windows, PC-based HR software from Atlas Business Solutions, Inc. It’s used by small businesses to keep electronic personnel files. It contains designated areas to store performance reviews, employee leave accruals for vacation and sick time, employee benefits, records of training classes and professional certifications, salary and bonus summary, an incident log for workplace accidents and disciplinary actions, scanned and saved documents, as well as an area with customizable fields that companies can define for themselves.

What’s new in Staff Files 8.0

In the Documents tab, users can choose the scanning software they would like to use to scan documents into Staff Files. The Accruals Activity report (formerly known as the Accruals by Date report) has been enhanced to include the starting and ending time-off balances, as well as a summary of all transactions during a specific time period. A new Accruals Balance report has been created to display each employee’s available time-off balances for a specific point in time. A new Evaluations Score report has been created to help managers quickly see their highest rated employees based on performance review scores. Signature lines were added to the Employee Evaluations report for employee and manager’s signatures. Additional fields have been added to the filters, sorts, and employee list. Security settings now include the ability to restrict access to the Define menu, so only certain managers can update the policies that calculate time-off accruals, new hire and separation checklist items, dropdown field lists, and field categories.
