RONETIX announced new embedded CPU board series (SAM9-CM) based on Atmel 400MHz ARM926EJ-STM processor AT91SAM9x5 . The boards include 128MiB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MiB NandFlash, 4MiB SPI Flash, 1024-bits one-wire EEPROM. The CPU modules measure only 67x35 mm and provide all functional requirements for embedded and industrial applications. These functions include graphics, audio, mass storage, network and multiple serial and USB ports. The boards support WinCE, Linux and Android.

Vienna, Austria, November 30, 2011 - (PressReleasePoint) - RONETIX announced new embedded CPU board series (SAM9-CM) based on Atmel 400MHz ARM926EJ-S^TM processor AT91SAM9x5 . The boards include 128MiB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MiB NandFlash, 4MiB SPI Flash, 1024-bits one-wire EEPROM. The CPU modules measure only 67x35 mm and provide all functional requirements for embedded and industrial applications. These functions include graphics, audio, mass storage, network and multiple serial and USB ports. The boards support WinCE, Linux and Android.

SAM9-CM incorporates Atmel's ARM926-based microcontroller with external memory and optional Ethernet PHY Layer Transceiver. Ronetix offers 5 various CPU modules for Atmel Main Board AT91SAM9x5 series, equipped with 5 different processors: SAM9G15, SAM9G25, SAM9G35, SAM9x25 and SAM9x35. All five modules are sharing an identical PCB and BGA217 foot-print.

Further SAM9-CM is equipped with 128MiB DDR2 SDRAM, 256 MiB NAND Flash and 4 MiB Atmel SPI Flash .The module configuration is stored in the DS2431 EEPROM. The EEPROM may be accessed by the system through the OneWire Bus.
