Author Interview with Janice D. Green at Stories from Unknown Authors – Pre-recorded
We are pleased to invite you to tune in to this pre-recorded interview at Stories from Unknown Authors to meet author, Janice D. Green, as she discusses her book, The Creation.
About the book…
The book of Genesis comes alive with this colorfully illustrated, scripturally sound, and kid-friendly retelling of the events and progression of creation in Janice D. Green’s book, The Creation. Questions for each day spark discussion between children and their parents and caregivers. A page is included to encourage families to begin their own Bible quilt projects. Additional faith building concepts pertaining to the Genesis account of creation are included.
What reviewers are saying…
"Janice Green writes with a clean, clear prose that carries the reader directly to the event. If you like language that doesn't get in the way, you will love reading her." Tim Rogers, Coordinator of Clergy Services and Conference Secretary, South Carolina Conference - United Methodist Church
"Have you wondered how we got here, how plants were formed and where animals came from? Does wonder fill your heart as you look into the starry sky, watch snowfall or see a fish jump? The Creation by Janice Green shares the wonder of creation and explains how God made everything in six days and everything He made was good. On the seventh day, God rested from all His work. Janice tells the story of each day of creation with whimsical pictures and stories from the Bible. She ends each day with questions sure to fascinate children of all ages, whether they are being read to, early readers or reading the book to children. At the end of the book are directions for parents and kids to make a creation quilt, a quilt to keep kids warm at night and keep the wonder of God's creation in their hearts. This is a must-have book for kids. My grandkids will get a book of their own for Christmas."
