Growth of 38 percent in Q2 2010 over Q2 2009, earns Automated Systems Design an Entrex Private Company Index Top Growth Company distinction in 2011.

ATLANTA, Ga. — For the second year in a row, Automated Systems Design (ASD®), the leading nationwide solution for custom turnkey information transport systems, has been named a Top Growth Company by the Entrex Private Company Index (PCI) for its 38 percent growth in Q2 2010 over Q2 2009. PCI is a proprietary benchmarking tool that measures revenue performance in the sector of private companies with $250 million or less in annual revenue.

“ASD project managers and our deployment team as a whole really came together to make 2009-2010 a banner year for ASD. We successfully completed numerous high-profile projects, including a massive rollout for the U.S. Census Bureau, which had extremely tight deadlines for installing more than 50,000 data cables totaling over four million feet. ASD’s rapid growth is the result of the zeal and enthusiasm our ASD team has for our clients and for being the best in the industry. Congratulations to the entire ASD team for a job well done,” said Bob Eskew, founder and CEO of ASD.

ASD is a manufacturer and service provider of information transport systems. ASD manufactures high-performance iCAT-ITS™ copper offerings, including CAT 5E, CAT 6E, and 10-gigabit CAT 6a cables, as well as iGLO-ITS™ fiber optic products based on the MTP style of connectorization known as Snap ‘N Glo. In addition, ASD manages physical infrastructures and turnkey nationwide project solutions for national clients seeking a single point of contact, including projects that involve moves, adds or changes. ASD features a network of approximately 700 AASDIs (Authorized ASD Installers), pronounced “as-dee.” These are local installers who have been certified in network environments, structured cabling system standards, networking standards for wired and wireless systems, surveillance and access control, and building automation systems.

"ASD is a great example of the kind of interesting, growing, revenue-producing company that is relatively unsung—being a private company," said Stephen H. Watkins, CEO of Entrex Private Company Index. "Long-term revenue consistency is a huge benchmark for entrepreneurial mid-market companies. This kind of healthy performance and moderated-yet-strong growth is to be lauded.”
