Award-winning Chilean Wine Producer Teams with Albertsons to Donate $1 per Bottle to Zoo’s New Penguin Exhibit

Seattle, WA – A new colony of penguins has debuted in an all new exhibit at Woodland Park Zoo. To celebrate their welcome to Seattle, Chilean wine producer, PengWine and Albertsons grocery stores have announced a special promotion--$1 will be donated to the zoo with the sale of each bottle of PengWine Humboldt at select Albertsons stores.

From Chile, PengWine’s award-winning wines are each named after different penguins that make their home along South America’s shores. Humboldt penguins enjoy nesting along the central Chilean coast north to Peru. The zoo’s exhibit mirrors the Peruvian coastline. The PengWine Humboldt is a vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon-based red Bordeaux-style blend made of grapes that thrived in the same climate that these birds enjoy.

When you buy a bottle of PengWine Humboldt to enjoy with your friends and family, you can also support the wine’s namesake close by at their home at Woodland Park Zoo.
