Awareness Campaign Seeks More Supporters For Ovarian Cancer

Go Research Fund’s "Feel teal" campaign continues to attract wider interest and is now inviting artists/musicians, of all genres, to join them!
Just as the growing amount of talent within the music industry flourishes, the crew of the "Feel teal" campaign decided this a perfect opportunity to build upon their own ideas, and have embraced the use of Youtube, creating their own videos, showing their support whilst sharing the ovarian cancer ‘awareness message’.

Spokesman; 7 time Grammy-Award winner, Rick Finch and "Feel teal's" creator/founder; Debbie Stevens, are joined by the crew from Ion’s Odyssey; Lance Toohey (lyricist/poet),his partner Michelle Australian Pop/Rock Artist; Anthony Snape, Comedian/Writer; Shelly Ryan and staff members from Flip Side To Music!

The campaign's spokesman, RickFinch, has pledged to donate 50 percent of net-sales from his new CD; "For All Reasons", the money going towards funding research for an early blood screening test.

With most cases of ovarian cancer still not diagnosed until in its later stages, finding this test is absolutely crucial, as in Australia alone, the survival rate improves greatly 85-90 percent if the cancer is diagnosed at an early stage, before it has spread. Only 15‑20 percent of ovarian cancer cases are diagnosed in the early stages.
Approximately 75 percent of ovarian cancer cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage after the cancer has
spread beyond the ovaries.Ovarian cancer is the most fatal gynaecological malignancy.
In Australia, one woman dies every 10 hours from this disease.

Ion's Odyssey will be setting off soon, making a Global journey like no other, profiling/interviewing musicians whilst keeping the ovarian cancer awareness message 'afloat'!
