Baidu Europe is beginning its international expansion with the purchase of the baidu.me domain name

A golden stroke in Baidu Europe's marketing campaign to promote its services even better. Baidu Europe has purchased the domain name Baidu.me.

Baidu Europe already owned fifteen baidu domain names, including baidu.tv baidu.tel, baidu.eu and baidu.nl.

Paulien Wiertsema, marketing director at Baidu Europe, said: "With the purchase of baidu.me, we have added another internationally recognizable domain name. The popular .com extension is owned by one of the largest search engines in the world: Baidu.com, but our Baidu.me domain name will allow us to better promote our services via an internationally recognizable domain name extension".

The .ME domain is not just popular for the development of an online presence by traditional small businesses and progressive entrepreneurs; it is also a valuable home domain for the ever-growing blogger community.
