Mumbai, May 09, 2008: The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd, a technology driven private sector bank, on auspicious day of Akshya Tritiya turned 65 year old on 08th May, 2008. To mark the anniversary bank has organized a Blood Donation camp and has managed to collect 101 bottles of blood from various groups of donors. Bank regularly participates in monthly cleanliness and maintenance drive at SMS Hospital and J.K.Loan Hospital at Jaipur.

Bank of Rajasthan was established at Udaipur, the lake city of Rajasthan on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya on May 8, 1943 and was included in the 2nd schedule of Reserve Bank of India Act, in 1948. For the first nine months, ended on 31.12.2007 of the current fiscal, the bank has reported net profit of Rs. 96.49 crore.
