Kortrijk, Belgium, 4 February 2014 – Barco LiveDots, a Barco company, is proud to announce the expansion of its portfolio with a new family of LCD-based advertisement kiosks. Targeted to the retail and advertising market, the brand-new range consists of five displays. Available as single- or double-sided displays for both floor- and wall-mounted setups, the LCD55ix (indoor, 55 inch), LCD55ox (outdoor, 55 inch), LCD72ix (indoor, 72 inch) and LCD72ox (outdoor, 72 inch) are perfectly suited for a wide range of applications. The LCD55ipw (55 inch) is a slim double-sided portrait display for indoor use. Starting today, and running through 6 February, Barco will be showcasing these new LCD kiosks at its booth at the ISE trade show in Amsterdam. They will be commercially available as of March 2014.

The rugged and reliable LCD-based kiosks feature an integrated heat management system, content and display management and optional I-Guard technology - a revolutionary monitoring tool that continually analyzes images to detect and correct instabilities for maximum display uptime. What’s more, they come with a fleet of options that allow for audience interaction: touch technology, cameras for audience measurement and gesture control, RFC, WiFi and Bluetooth. Thanks to these features and through the displays’ compatibility with social media and mobile devices, advertisers can maximize their audience reach with unlimited flexibility and creativity.
Suited for a wide variety of applications
Designed for retail and advertising, the LCD-based kiosks are perfectly suited for installation in airports, railway stations, shopping malls and other points of sale (such as gas stations), as well as for outdoor advertising. Next to being fully configurable on a system level, their look and feel is also customizable. Thanks to a smart concept of changeable skins – based on a standard core – the kiosks can easily be tailored to reflect a customer’s brand image.
