Wyndano's Cloak, a magical brew of sorcery, suspense, and beguiling characters, delivers an inspiring message for young people to believe in themselves and to trust the treasures they carry inside. In the novel, the kingdom of Aerdem is threatened. Fourteen-year-old Jen has one chance to save it—with a magical cloak too dangerous to use. The fantasy adventure that unfolds will appeal to children, ages nine and up, and adults who cherish fairy tales. Jen's quest for empowerment in the face of dire adversity has universal appeal. The result is a gripping tale of loyalty and betrayal, love and hate, and the yearning of the spirit.

Wyndano's Cloak has captured a dozen book awards (including Gold Medal Winner in the 2011 Benjamin Franklin Awards) and rave reviews. Readers Favorite proclaimed, "A. R. Silverberry is a master at characterization. Few are his equal." Feathered Quill Review declared, ". . . Constant suspense . . . impossible to put down. You're going to be very tired in the morning!" Silverberry’s creativity and imagination are second to none." And the US Review of Books called the novel, ". . . A powerful coming-of-age story . . . a rich and subtle metaphor for the power of creativity and courage, the function and purpose of artistic inspiration and enrichment, and the role of fantasy and vision in the human psyche."
