Bend, Oregon Shopping Center, the Old Mill District, Launches Redesigned Website
Shopping district’s new site redesigned for usability and direct linking options
Bend, OR, September 09, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- Bend, Oregon – The Old Mill District, Bend Oregon’s premier shopping area, today announced that it has re-launched a website redesign at www.theoldmill.com. The website was modified based on consumer feedback, making it easier to navigate and find information on businesses and events in the Old Mill District.
“We’ve been increasingly active in connecting with our customers via social media channels,” said Noelle Fredland, marketing director for the Bend, Oregon shopping district. “The website structure now allows us to link directly to the information we are discussing in our online outreach, so that people can easily click through and navigate.”
The new architecture of the site allows the home page at www.theoldmill.com to reflect current events, which research showed was the number one reason visitors came to the site. Visitors can immediately view a sidebar of the top three coming events, store specials, and information about major happenings, such as Les Schwab Amphitheater concerts, in the main body of the page. In addition, the complete Old Mill District Summer Guide is posted on the new site, which provides a resource for locals and visitors on everything happening in Bend, Oregon.
Included in the redesign was the ability to add an independent URL for each retailer, restaurant and business in the Bend, Oregon shopping center. This means that the Old Mill District is able to provide every tenant with a page that is populated with special offers, happenings and more.
