Education software specialist Crick Software has announced that the special upgrade discounts the company is currently offering to schools with the previous version of the product will only be available until December 2014.
Clicker is the child-friendly talking word processor that helps pupils of all abilities to significantly develop their reading and writing skills. Released in 2012, Clicker 6 is the latest version of this much-loved literacy tool, and is currently being used in thousands of schools across the UK.
Since the product’s launch, schools that have purchased Clicker 6’s predecessor, Clicker 5, have been able to take advantage of a substantial loyalty discount when moving to the new version. However, this offer will no longer be available from January 2015.
“Clicker 6 is a giant step forward from Clicker 5; it’s so much easier to use, and teachers are able to make their own differentiated resources much more quickly,” says the company’s CEO John Crick. “We want to ensure that none of our Clicker 5 schools miss out on their upgrade entitlement, so we would really urge them to take a look at Clicker 6 this term before it’s too late!”
